Don't panic. I've been to Highgate Cemetery so you don't have to.
I've wanted to go since I came to London six years ago but just haven't made the effort.
Over the last two days the weather has been spectacular so I dragged myself there. What an utterly beautiful, spectacular and peaceful place it is.
I decided to sit on a bench in front of the London Fire Brigade memorial and I must have been there for about half an hour just sitting and being. It is such an amazing place to be still.
Here are some pictures I took. I hope you like them...

It's kind of like the Doctor Who episode with the Weeping Angels.
Creepy.
Do you know that there was very famous vampire activity in Highgate Cemetery - the Highgate Vampire at the turn of the 60's/70's.
better czech-you can still stomach garlic?
ahoj
Czech: Haha, yeah I read about the Highgate Vampire and on my iPod for some of the while, while walking around, I played the 'Dracula' soundtrack which made me a little scared.
But turned it off. It really is an amazing place - you should go - during the summer months when it's quite overgrown and spend a few hours there. It's well worth it.
But take the garlic. Just in case! x x
hmmm dont panic - would you describe that as a pun or something 42 trillian miles away?
Fleets: Explain! I don't get it...
(honest...)
Really? Douglas Adams whose gravestone you pictured wrote Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. Said book in the book attributed large amounts of it sales to having Dont Panic on the front cover.
Which led to my apalling choice of 42 (the answer to life and everything in the book) and Trillian - a character within the book as well.

Deepest apologies for assuming you were geeky enough to have referenced something like this in your original post.
OHM Fleets! That was totally not by design!... how funny.
And please don't apologise - geeks and pedants are like THE BEST! x
Why did you leave your gym towel on Douglas Adams' grave?
Tie-me-kangaroo-down-sport Preppy: Well, does does one's bit to make it a little interesting. Lucky you haven't seen what happened to the black jockstrap...
